Avoid coaching, surf journals and reputed sites for UPSC preparation.

with one comment

Anyone who keeps an eye on reputed publications like Economic and Political Weekly (EPW) and other journals (including international ones) will know that now UPSC takes out lines, phrases, words, themes from here and places them in questions.
You can see that even in a paper like Philosophy.

Time to stop running after coaching institutes and do your own research and studies if you haven’t already.  Model answers are also often prepared from that text only obviously. So embrace the reputed publications in your areas; don’t run after run-of-the-mill texts, textbooks, coaching stuff.
